Manual Therapy
Manual therapy is hands-on treatment for joints, muscles, and connective tissue. We use gentle joint mobilisations, myofascial release, and trigger-point work to restore movement and reduce nerve sensitivity. Sessions are reserved for senior therapists certified in Maitland and Mulligan techniques.
Who it's for
- Stiff joints that won't unlock with exercise alone
- Headaches from upper-cervical tension
- Frozen shoulder, post-immobilisation hips
What to expect
- Targeted joint mobilisation grades I–IV
- Soft-tissue and myofascial release
- Neural mobilisation when indicated
- Immediate post-treatment movement re-test
Outcomes we measure
- Felt-and-measurable range gains in one session
- Reduced muscle guarding around the joint
- A clear plan to keep the gain

Common reasons people book manual therapy.
Spine
Low back pain
From overnight lockups to long-running disc-related sciatica — the most-treated complaint at the clinic.
Headache & jaw
Neck pain & cervicogenic headaches
Tension that creeps up the back of the skull, behind the eye, and lingers for days. Highly responsive to manual therapy.
Upper limb
Shoulder impingement & rotator cuff
A pinch on overhead reach, weakness brushing your hair, or a deep ache at night when sleeping on the side.
Upper limb
Tennis & padel elbow
A sharp pinch on the outside of the elbow with grip — and worse the day after a long padel match.
